Troy graduated from Everest Institute in Tigard, Oregon, in 2017. His interest in injury treatment through massage therapy began after sustaining a snowboarding injury while undergoing his massage training. Shortly after obtaining his license, Troy started his massage career at a spa near Vancouver, WA, where he naturally attracted clients seeking injury treatment. After gaining a few years of experience, Troy moved to a spa in Seattle, where he worked for another four years. Although his career has been primarily in spa settings, injury treatment has always been a daily practice for him. Recently joining the team at UTB, Troy feels the freedom to fully pursue his passion for injury treatment and make a significant difference in people's recovery.

Troy has extensive knowledge in treating shoulder tears, frozen shoulder, post-operative joint replacements, auto accident injuries, and tension headaches. He loves a good puzzle and enjoys helping those who have not found relief through physical therapy or other modalities. His passion for improving the quality of life for others drives his eagerness to learn and grow in the field of massage therapy.

Troy has recently completed a course in Gua Sha Therapy. He loves to incorporate Cupping Therapy (both dynamic and static) into his sessions and uses tuning forks for vibrational therapy when necessary. His massage technique begins with a methodical, flowing, lomi lomi-inspired approach, transitioning into deeper, focused treatment work.

Outside of the spa, you might find Troy snowboarding in the mountains, backpacking in the forest, cooking haute cuisine in the kitchen, and catering to the every whim of his two puppies.
