Anne - Martine Schiele, LMT, CLT, CPT, PT began her career in ’98 as a Physiotherapist in Germany. Early on during her work she discovered her passion for Massage/Manual Therapy and Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD). After completing the initial 240 hours of training in the Vodder Method, she became a Certified Lyphedema Therapist, focusing on complex decongestive therapy, general edema management in post-cancer and post- surgical care, wound care management and body detoxing, utilizing her well rounded skill set to achieve the best possible outcome for the patient.

She left the Physical Therapy field after 12 years of working both in Germany and the United States, to follow her true passion and enrolled at Everest College to become a Licensed Massage Therapist and Spa Specialist. Since her graduation in 2011, Anne has worked in both spa and clinical settings. She received her Intraoral Massage endorsement in 2015, the WA state required CE course for Breast /Chest massage in 2018 and she successfully completed her certificate in Natural Holistic Remedies in 2017.

Anne’s career focus currently lies in:

  • Breast/Chest massage for fibrocystic breast disease, breast implant illness, breast augmentation, capsular contracture and related conditions
  • Cancer related conditions such as mastectomy, lumpectomy, DIEP flap reconstruction, cording, scar treatment after radiation, etc
  • Post surgical care including post cosmetic surgery or gender affirmation (Mommy make overs, CCT, BBL, Tummy Tucks, Body Lifts, Liposuction, etc)
  • Fibromyalgia and other autoimmune diseases

Although focusing on MLD, she continues on occasion to see patients for treatment massages including complex cases with acute and chronic orthopedic conditions and soft and connective tissue conditions. She utilizes modalities such as Myofascial Release Techniques, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Neuromuscular Re-education, Breast/ Chest Massage, Intraoral Massage, active and passive stretching techniques and of course MLD, providing the best standard of care.

With her solid educational foundation, Anne is the clinical educator for Manual Lymphatic drainage, Breast/Chest massage and Post Surgical Care (Including elective) at Unlocking The Body. She is writing and teaching WA State acknowledged CEU courses to Licensed Massage Therapists.
