Laura M. Hunt, LMT

Laura received her massage education in 2015 from the Discovery Point School of Massage in Seattle. Before joining Unlocking The Body, she gained valuable experience working in both spa and chiropractic office settings. This diverse background allows Laura to seamlessly blend the soothing techniques of relaxation massage with targeted treatment and injury work. She has a particular passion for addressing neck and shoulder dysfunction as well as providing headache relief.

Drawn to massage therapy for its holistic approach, Laura appreciates the opportunity to help people outside the realm of conventional Western medicine. Her personalized sessions focus on the unique needs of each client, facilitating progress and healing. Through her experiences in massage school, Laura discovered the profound therapeutic benefits of touch, extending beyond physical ailments to encompass mental and emotional well-being. She excels in creating a space where the body can process and heal on multiple levels.

Laura is committed to continuing her education and plans to gain certifications in Intraoral Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, and Craniosacral Therapy.

Outside of the clinic, Laura enjoys hunting for treasures in antique and thrift stores, engaging in various crafts, and spending time with her pets.
