V. Jeanette Just - Schaefer, LMT

Jeanette began her massage therapy career in 2013 after completing her training in Tampa, Florida. She quickly discovered her passion for medically based massage while working at one of Florida’s premier oncology hospitals, where she supported patients through illness, treatment, recovery, injury, stress, and major life transitions.

Known for her deeply empathetic presence and intuitive, experienced touch, Jeanette specializes in therapeutic massage while thoughtfully tailoring each session to the needs, comfort level, and goals of each patient. She also brings a holistic approach to her work as a certified Reiki Master since 2007, blending therapeutic and energetic modalities when appropriate and desired to create a grounded, personalized, and supportive experience.

In addition to massage therapy, Jeanette offers self-care guidance and holistic wellness tools inspired by her background in yoga, breath work, meditation, chakra balancing, and mindful movement. She has also added Strain-Counterstrain to her skill set, a gentle, passive, hands-on technique designed to help ease pain, reduce tension, improve range of motion, and support joint and soft tissue function.

After relocating to Washington to be closer to her husband’s family, Jeanette brings together experience from spa, chiropractic, and hospital settings. At UTB, she uses her diverse skill set to support and empower patients on their wellness journeys.

Jeanette is currently expanding her expertise through advanced training in Strain-Counterstrain and Fascial Counterstrain.

Outside of work, Jeanette enjoys quiet time with her husband, scenic day trips, staying connected with her children and grandchildren, stretching, studying, writing, and creating art by the fireplace.
