Infrared Therapy - Infrared Sauna

Infrared sauna therapy is a perfect complement to your massage session. By booking in advance, you can enjoy 15-20 minutes in our sauna before your massage. This brief time in the sauna helps to warm up your muscles, making them more receptive to the work of your massage therapist, so you get the most out of your bodywork session

Infrared sauna therapy is known to support various health benefits, including detoxification, improved circulation, pain relief, muscle relaxation, skin rejuvenation, and enhanced immune function. Many people also find it effective for stress relief and achieving a sense of deep relaxation. It can be a great way to transition from your busy work day into your therapeutic massage session.

What are Infrared Wavelengths?

Infrared sauna therapy uses infrared light to create heat, which penetrates deeply into the body to promote detoxification, relaxation, and pain relief. Unlike traditional saunas that use steam or hot air to warm the body, infrared saunas emit infrared wavelengths that directly heat the body without excessively heating the surrounding air.

Our sauna has 9 panels to reach the full body and uses predominantly far-infrared (FIR) wavelengths which are the deepest penetrating into the body. These wavelengths aid in muscle recovery, reduces inflammation, relieves joint pain, and promotes detoxification at a deeper level.

What are Some Benefits of Infrared Therapy?

The Far Infrared wavelength is naturally produced by our bodies and is readily absorbed, helping to support natural healing. This same wavelength is emitted by the panels in our sauna, providing a gentle, radiant heat. Infrared panels (shown in the model above) offer benefits that go beyond traditional steam saunas and are also safer. Because infrared saunas operate at around 120 degrees, you can enjoy the effects in a cooler, more breathable environment.

  • Deep heat to muscles, joints, and organs
  • Removal of toxins through perspiration and increased circulation
  • Can decrease pain due to inflammatory joint conditions (such as arthritis)
  • Increases blood circulation
  • Can reduce appearance of cellulite through penetration of fat cells under the skin
  • Can help skin related issues
  • Can speed healing time and recovery for wounds or injuries

Infrared Sauna Time & Temperature Guide

Our Sauna Tech can assist you in choosing the right time and temperature for your session, but here’s a simple guide to help you get started. Even if you’re not able to use the infrared sauna multiple times a week, using it just before your massage can significantly enhance the benefits of your session.

The heat from the sauna helps relax and prepare your muscles, allowing your massage therapist to work more effectively and maximize your results.
