Jennifer has been practicing in the field of massage since 1999. She graduated from Ashmead college in Fife, WA. She has previously worked with Chiropractors and a Sports Physician which helped her knowledge, growth and interest in injury and rehab treatment massage early on. Jennifer also obtains daily invaluable experience working with fellow Massage Therapists at UTB for over 7 years now.

Her massage provides a combination of deep relaxation as well as gentle specific stretches with direct focused strokes to release areas of tension and dysfunction. She has a wide range of techniques from- light, gentle touch, to deep, specific massage, structural bodywork and passive and active stretching. Jennifer has a deep fulfillment in participating in the significant change that happens with massage for people who have anxiety, PTSD, TBIs, feeling over stimulated, and everyday stress. Jennifer believes bodywork is a perfect tool for educating her clients that massage is essential for great health and rehabilitation along with, bridging/integrating to a multitude of other therapies. Jennifer uses intuition, intention, and education to provide her clients with the most effective treatments she can as well as, she is passionate about educating people and empowering them to take control of their own health and well-being!

Jennifer has knowledge in many modalities and she uses a combination of techniques with each massage that may include, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Intraoral massage, Mana-Lomi, GuaSha, Cupping, Neuromuscular Re-education, and her most favorite Craniosacral Therapy. Jennifer currently holds an endorsement with Washington state for Intraoral Massage that has broadened her scope of practice in working with a multitude of jaw dysfunctions, dental trauma, and migraines/headaches. She LOVES working with babies which led to taking the Craniosacral Pediatric course in June 2018 which helps with a wide range of isses such as: birth trauma, latching/sucking trouble, colic/reflux/gastrointestinal pain and constipation, to name a few.

For the past few years Jennifer also has been advocating/volunteering for veterans to receive massage and Craniosacral therapy with the VA and local non-profit. In the coming year Jennifer plans on taking an advanced cupping class, more advanced Craniosacral classes and possibly Sarga training!

 In Jennifer’s spare time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, reading and spending time outside with her family, which may be at a soccer or baseball field, on a hike, or at the lake. Since, its cold and wet most of the year in Washington she grins and bears it and rewards herself with a nightly soak in her hot tub!
